1. Controller
Responsible for processing personal data on this website (Art. 4(7) GDPR):
[to be added: full legal name] (SEKOU), [to be added: street and number], [to be added: postcode and city], Germany
Email: booking@dj-sekou.com · Phone: [to be added: phone number]
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg: the files are stored in Amazon S3 in Ireland (EU) and delivered through the Amazon CloudFront network. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data — IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system — which AWS needs to deliver it.
We have not enabled access logs, so no log files are kept for us.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). AWS processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR); CloudFront may serve you from locations outside the EU, covered by the safeguards in that agreement.
4. Spotify player (music page)
The music page can play tracks through Spotify's player. The player only loads after you press play or drag the needle onto the record; until then, no connection to Spotify is made.
When you start it, your browser connects to servers of Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden. Spotify receives your IP address, sets cookies (for example sp_t and sp_landing) and may process data outside the EU, including in the USA; according to Spotify, such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; § 25(1) TDDDG), given by starting the player. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by not using the player and deleting Spotify's cookies in your browser. 5. Contact by email
If you email us (for example a booking enquiry), we process your address and the content of your message to reply and, where relevant, to prepare a booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Emails are received via [to be added: email provider]. We delete them once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply (for example for business correspondence under German commercial and tax law).
6. External links
Links to music platforms and social networks (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) are plain links. No data is sent to them until you click one; after that, that platform's privacy policy applies.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). To exercise these rights, just write to the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
